It hasn't been many years since the miles-long, crescent-shaped panorama of beach called Sandy Beach on the Sea of Cortez was just magnificent sun-bathed surf with miles of sand dunes flowing inland. The built-up portions of Rocky Point lay a mile or more south.
Today, Sandy Beach is still pristine beaches, and the dunes
lie undisturbed in the background. In-between, however, is
one of the most enviable stretches of luxurious lodging development
